Rs was round in 99? Wow didn't realize that

RSC came out in 2001. There were older versions of the game, though. DeviousMUD came out in 99 I think.

EDIT: It was a different game in 99. So I didn't include it, I don't believe items or anything were changed over to RSC. It wasn't really an update to the game, because also between DeviousMUD and RSC there was some other game that was out for a week.

I started when you could pick to be an - Adventuer, Warrior, Magician, or Archer.

I started in August of '04. I've been playing for nearly two years and I'm only lvl 88.

I think my first memory would be...going to the alkarid|Lumby fence and yelling at the guards because I thought they were actually real players that controlled the gate.

I Started Playing the same day that they put world 3 online, back on classic. I know this was the first day for world 3 because my kids had been playing it and they helped me set up my char. and when I went to select a world they were like ohh wow a wold 3 now.

But this was back in the days before rune, before you could put more than money in the bank, before members and I want to say at the time there were only like 16 skills and like 10-15 quests at the time. There was no wild but you could pk pretty much anywhere out side of the towns. Back then Edgeville was called Ghost town, I used to have a screenshot of a world map from Jagex with it labled as that.

Anyone can get a P-hat now they don't really show your status but how rich you are, that's all they mean. You used to beable to show your status by your skills back in the old days, about 3 yrs ago and more, but then everyone startted buying their lvl's and the auto'ers came out and that's what ruined the game. I have been playing for a good 6 yrs now and I have a skill total of 1940 and I can honestly say I haven't bought my lvl's, I will admit I will buy some coal here and there now at 96 smithing and 92 or 93 mining (Don't remember which) I think I have earned it.

But as to status of a player I have seen lvl 3's walking around with p-hats, masks, santa's and all. And all they did was buy and sell stuff to get the cash to buy them.

For the status of a player you gotta look at their character, as in values, respect for other players and how they play the game.

i started rs in i think it was july 06 and i couldnt get off the computer i ave now been playin 4 months and i am lvl 71 (65str 60 att 52 def 53 mage) yah and i dont think p hats mean that much cuz its just a way for rich players to merchant them and make some fash cash and thats not fair to lower lvl players like me

I remember when I used to play house with my friends in Varrock Castle.

I remember I used to go to the events section on RuneScape Offical Forums and saw topics like "resturants, hotels OPEN!", etc. I attended every single on of them. But not that I'm inactive, I fish in world 44 for the hell of it.
